Discovering Horses Pre-Bodywork Course

by Christine Walker, Walker Equine Therapies

Horses have been intriguing to many people for thousands of years. Have you wanted to work or be with horses and not sure where to gain any practical experience?

This course is designed for the individual who wants to become involved with horses, but does not have any prior experience. Laid out in multiple sections, Discovering Horses, is designed to help the student gain practical skills such as understanding basic equine behaviors, understanding the equestrian world, basic horse handling skills and important safety protocols when with horses.

A perfect start for anyone considering riding lessons, working with horses as a bodyworker or volunteering with an equine organization. There are a few assignments, videos and quizzes to help solidify the information in your brain. You will have access to the course organizer via email at anytime. Participants are encouraged at the end of the course to set up a zoom conference call with Christine to discuss your steps forward.

Join us in the world of discovering horses. Your equine future self is waiting!
